Dolgopolski Presents Work on Monotheism and Antisemitism in Vienna

Sergey Dolgopolski, professor in the Department of Jewish Thought, presented his latest research at the international conference “Jewish Law and Antisemitism,” held at the University of Vienna on February 26, 2025.

His talk, titled “Monotheism as Antisemitism,” explored how certain interpretations of monotheistic frameworks can intersect with antisemitic ideologies. The conference gathered scholars from around the world to examine the legal, theological and philosophical dimensions of antisemitism in historical and contemporary contexts.

Dolgopolski’s work contributes to international conversations about the relationship between religious thought and social justice, furthering UB’s presence in global academic discourse.
