Daum receives Carl Friedrich von Siemens Research Award

Department of History professor Andreas Daum, PhD, has been awarded the Humboldt Research Prize by the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation in recognition of his achievements and impact on historical scholarship. He will be hosted during the 2019-20 academic year by the Ludwig Maximilians University of Munich, with additional support by the Carl Friedrich von Siemens Foundation.

The award is one of the most prestigious honors for scholars in the humanities and is conferred in recognition of the winner’s entire academic record to date. In addition, award winners are invited to carry out research projects of their own choice in cooperation with specialist colleagues in Germany, promoting international scientific cooperation.
