The PPE Program at UB is proud to present its second community deliberative forum on “Growing Inclusive Civic Spaces”.

Deliberate about creating inclusive civic spaces across Buffalo, then pose questions to a panel of community leaders and faculty members.

Inclusive spaces are important for creating welcoming neighborhoods, parks, cultural venues, schools, religious gatherings, markets, cafes, and even streets and sidewalks. This is especially important for a diverse and constantly evolving community like Buffalo. Meanwhile, locally and nationally, we are experiencing rapid economic, political, cultural, and technological change. While keeping up with all these changes may be difficult, they also offer new opportunities to rethink the design of our civic spaces. At UB, the Philosophy, Politics and Economics (PPE) Program is committed to learning how it may work with community partners towards building more inclusive civic spaces, while following the lead of existing community-led initiatives.

ALL PARTICIPANTS MUST BE AT LEAST 18 YEARS OLD.

DATE: Friday, December 5, 2025.
