Students collect books and games for Buffalo City Mission shelter

Students in PHI 485 Capstone Inquiry are collecting children’s books puzzles and board games to support a women’s shelter at the Buffalo City Mission. The project, led by “Team Traffic Cones,” will help create a reading room for families staying at the shelter.
Students Glenn Wright and Mirna Cadet are organizing the effort and inviting the UB community to contribute. Donations will go directly toward building a space where children can read play and learn.
The group will host additional collection days in the Student Union across from Student Services from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on April 18 and April 25.
