Bio: 
Natalia is an attorney and PhD student in the Department of Sociology and Criminology. Her research interests include sociology of law, criminology, critical race theory, policing and prisons, and social inequality. Natalia is interested in studying how are laws complicit in the mass incarceration of marginalized communities and the policies that pose a barrier to formerly incarcerated people’s re-entry into their community.
