Our Accent Management program is recommended for individuals who have good oral English proficiency skills but still struggle with specific sounds or language use.
Our program begins with a mandatory comprehensive evaluation to assess speech and language intelligibility and comprehensibility in multiple contexts. In our sessions we focus on learning the differences between a participant’s native language and Standard American English (SAE) sounds. Session objectives may focus on differences in stress patterns, intonation, phonological rules, speech rate, articulation, auditory discrimination and listening comprehension.
