Contemporary Music Performance DMA

The DMA in Contemporary Music Performance draws upon the University at Buffalo’s unique history as a center for experimental music to train advanced performers with an interest in innovative new music. During the typical four-year course of study, students participate in graduate seminars, receive studio lessons, and collaborate with faculty and students in UB’s Contemporary Ensemble. They also have the opportunity to premiere new works and collaborate with composers through a variety of programming sponsored by UB’s Robert and Carol Morris Center for 21st Century Music.
