More about Wendy

The best part of my job is getting to talk about what motivates students and how they can develop those interests, whether they are in or outside of the classroom.

Advice and tips for students:
Get connected with the Career Design Center early! Planning for your post - UB life is a long-term project, and they will help you navigate the steps, whether you are planning for a job or graduate school.

Advice for first-year students:
Get out and try things, even if you’re a little overwhelmed at first. Academics are a huge part of your college, but experience also comes outside the classroom. Join a club, attend a campus event or game, study abroad, or get a job. You never know where your next new interest or friend might come from.
