Advice and tips for students:
Avoid unnecessary distractions in the residence halls and off-campus housing. Learn and understand your major requirements. Call your loved ones regularly.
Advice for first-year students:
Do not procrastinate or wait until the very last minute to do anything academically related. Check your email periodically every day. Attend study skills and time management workshops. Reach out to your professors immediately if you experience academic difficulty or if you need clarification on course material.
