Awards include residency fellowships at MacDowell Colony, Smack Mellon Studios, Villa Montalvo, Virginia Center for the Creative Arts and Yaddo, The Foundation of Jewish Culture’s Ronnie Heyman Award; and a grant from the Pollock Krasner Foundation. Born in New York, Linder attended the Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture and received and MFA from Columbia University and a BFA from The School if the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston and Tufts University.
