Head of Drawing, Professor Joan Linder, and Director of the Coalesce Center for Biological Art, Professor Paul Vanouse, are showcased in the exhibition "Origin", at the SUNY Niagara Community College's Dolce Valvo Art Center.
ORIGIN is an art exhibition showcasing the innovative works of Joan Linder and Paul Vanouse. Visitors are invited to explore Linder’s intricate visual compositions and Vanouse’s experimental media pieces, both reflecting on themes of structure, perception, and transformation. The exhibition opens with a reception for the artists on Thursday, March 5, from 1:00 to 3:00 PM, providing an opportunity to meet the artists and discuss their creative processes.
Artist talks are scheduled to deepen engagement with the works: Joan Linder will speak on Tuesday, March 24, at 11:00 AM and 2:00 PM, and Paul Vanouse will present on Wednesday, April 1, at 10:30 AM and 12:00 PM. These sessions offer insight into the techniques, concepts, and inspirations behind their art.
