Project Statement
Over three years, artist and writer Taylor Robers explored Old Growth Forests, Cedar Swamps, Prairies, and Oak Savannahs on her visits to Cedar Creek Ecosystem Science Reserve in east-central Minnesota.
In this illustrated guide, Robers walks us through the diverse ecosystems of Cedar Creek, shares what she learns from scientists in the field, and reflects on the women leaders of Cedar Creek in the 1930s and a scientist with chronic illness who changed our understanding of life in 1941.
Through Ecology of Home, Robers plans to explore the diversity of our ecosystems near and far, talk with people who are working in restoration and in reciprocity with Earth, and share what she learns through visual and written form.

I’m self publishing this book with 100% recycled paper so costs are a bit higher and I can only afford to purchase in small batches. My goal for this sale is just to get this book out there and to break even with costs such as printing, ISBN, Copyright registration.
Thank you so much for supporting this project! - Taylor
