We invite you to change your major or minor to Biological Sciences.
- To be eligible for the major your GPA in all required BIO courses previously taken must be at least 2.000, and your combined GPA in the required Math and Chem courses must be at least 2.000.
- For Bioinformatics/BIO, your combined GPA in the required courses must be at least 3.000.
- if you are not a current UB student, list Biological Sciences as your primary interest when you apply to UB.

CAS FORM: Change Major or Minor to Biological Sciences
The Major/Minor change form is for current UB students who are not yet Biological Sciences majors or minors.
Submit the CAS Major/Minor Change Request form to request one of the following changes to your academic plan:
- Add a major, minor, or certificate in the College of Arts and Sciences
- Drop any major
- Drop any minor
