Prospective Students

Application to the Bio major.

Undergraduate Applicants

Plan a visit: The best way to learn more about our undergraduate programs is to visit us. We are happy to offer informational sessions specifically designed for prospective high school and transfer students interested in the undergraduate programs our department has to offer. Parents and families are more than welcome to attend as well.

To schedule a tour or attend our open house, contact the department: (716) 645-2363 or via email, biolsci@buffalo.edu

What to expect: If you have scheduled a special visit, arrive at our main office, 109 Cooke Hall, where you will be greeted by Biological Sciences staff members. During your visit, you will have the opportunity to partake in a small group session with other visiting students and one of our distinguished faculty members. The vast opportunities that await our undergraduate students will be discussed and we encourage you to ask questions. If timing allows, we will also provide a tour of our teaching laboratories.

Location: The Department of Biological Sciences is located in Cooke Hall, UB North Campus. See the webpage Visiting UB for directions to North Campus as well as campus maps.

We look forward to meeting you!
