BUFFALO, N.Y. – The University at Buffalo will celebrate summer on July 18 with UB on the Green, the university’s free outdoor performance series featuring live music, dancing and hands-on activities for the entire family.

Hosted by UB’s Office of Community Relations, UB on the Green will be held from 6-8 p.m. on the Hayes Hall lawn on the South Campus.

The family-friendly, alcohol-free event is designed to bring the South Campus and UB communities closer together. Guests are encouraged to bring lawn chairs, blankets and picnic food to enjoy.

July 18 is “Care Fair Night,” an evening dedicated to health in the community, with free health screenings provided by UBMD, the UB School of Nursing and the UB School of Dental Medicine. J.J. Swing will perform.

Press arrangements: Tess Morrissey, director of community relations, at 716-572-1996.
