Visit options for future students

We welcome prospective undergraduate and graduate students and their families to visit the Department of Biological Sciences on UB’s North Campus. Visiting in person gives you a closer look at our academic programs, research spaces and student experience.

  • Individual or small group visits are scheduled by request
  • Opportunities to meet with faculty and staff and learn more about our programs

What to expect when you arrive

Please come to the Department's main office located at 109 Cooke Hall to check in. Biological Sciences staff will greet you and help you get started.

During your visit, you can expect:

  • A small group conversation with other visiting students
  • Time with a faculty member to learn about opportunities in Biological Sciences
  • Space to ask questions about programs, research and student life
  • A tour of teaching labs when timing allows
