Honors Program

Departmental Honors Program

The CDS Honors Program stimulates excellence by encouraging students to undertake in depth study in a specialty area within the fields of Communication Sciences and Disorders. Students gain a more sophisticated understanding of at least one aspect of the field and develop their analytical skills or creative talents.

Qualified seniors engage in an extensive, year-long laboratory and scientific writing experience. Students work in a research lab under the direction of the faculty member. Students who complete the project receive a recognition certificate. Students enroll in CDS 497 Departmental Honors Thesis.

Three master's students.
