Rembis Honored with Mentoring Award

This year’s Excellence in Mentoring Award, given out each year by the UB Gender Institute, went to Mike Rembis, Associate Professor of History and Director of the Center for Disability Studies. Professor Rembis received several nomination letters from colleagues and students praising his “honesty and transparency” in advising students in History, as well as in English, Africana and American Studies, Comparative Literature, and Global Gender and Sexuality Studies. The award is richly deserved. Congratulations, and thank you, Professor Rembis!
