"The Journey to China" Study Abroad Program

Chuan Lin, associate teaching professor and director of the Chinese Program, is leading The Journey to China study abroad program this summer, taking students to Shanghai, China’s largest city and a global hub. During the three-week program, students will study Chinese culture, learn and practice Chinese language and gain intercultural experiences. In addition, students will make connections between what they learn in the classroom and what they experience in Shanghai and the surrounding areas. The program includes trips to Hangzhou and Suzhou, two beautiful and historical cities not far from Shanghai.
