UB Chorus is a large ensemble typically consisting of 50-200 singers. It is an amateur group meant for those interested in having a first singing experience, learning more about music through song, or looking to explore their voices and ensemble singing. It is a non-auditioned group, but members are required to be able to match pitch and have a basic understanding of music. Typical repertoire is beginner to intermediate level choral music meant to provide a fun learning experience.
It rehearses once per week on Wednesday afternoons from 3:30-5:30pm. It performs one concert per semester in December or May at UB's Slee Hall.
