Assistant Teaching Professor Colter Harper’s new book Jazz in the Hill

Assistant Teaching Professor Colter Harper’s new book Jazz in the Hill has been released by the University Press of Mississippi. The book is a history of the jazz scene in Pittsburgh’s Hill District from the 1920s through the 1960s.  Professor Harper will be presenting a talk and live musical performance on April 25 at 3:30 p.m. in Baird Recital Hall.
