If you are applying to UB for the first time, you will complete the standard undergraduate admissions process. If you are already enrolled at UB, the steps are different. Use the section below that matches your current status to find the right next step.
If you are new to UB, your first step is to apply to the university. PPE is available as a major and a minor, and you can indicate your interest when completing your application.
New to UB?
If you’re a high school senior or transfer student, your first step is to apply to the University at Buffalo. When completing your application, select Philosophy, Politics and Economics as your intended major (or the Philosophy, Politics and Economics minor). Already a UB student?
Want to add or switch to a Philosophy, Politics and Economics major or minor?
Submit the CAS Major/Minor Change Request form to request one of the following changes to your academic plan:
- Add a major, minor, or certificate in the College of Arts and Sciences
- Drop any major
- Drop any minor
