Bio:
Ayrlia is interested in investigating sibling relationships across the life course, particularly during the transition to adulthood. Her dissertation research examines how sibling relationship quality in emerging adulthood is influenced by adverse childhood experiences and life statuses. She is also examining how sibling relationship quality influences parent health. In other research, Ayrlia is studying grieving and social support for miscarriages, adult offspring stressors and parental sleep, and perceptions of aging and older adults.
