Bio:
Emily Jauch is a PhD student in the Department of Sociology and Criminology at the University at Buffalo. She is interested in topics centered around sex, sex work, the media, and art. Her current research is structured around a gender analysis of pleasure and performance through cultural artifacts. In her free time, she enjoys reading short stories, taking walks, drinking coffee, taking care of her cactus plants, and hanging out with her cat Olive.
