Bio: 
Sophia is a doctoral student at the University at Buffalo, with research interests focused on neighborhoods particularly during adolescence and their intersections with crime and life outcomes. She’s interested in exploring how neighborhoods shape access to resources including social networks, impacting outcomes such as health and educational attainment. Additionally, she’s interested in how neighborhood settings impact perceptions of youth criminality.
