Bio: 
Asli Guler is a Ph.D. student in the Department of Sociology at the University at Buffalo. She is interested in family, gender, inequality, and environmental sociology. In a broad sense, she studies how gender inequality and roles in a family setting influence an individual's job satisfaction and motivation. Similarly, she wants to investigate the impact of profit and non-profit organizations on environmental changes and problems.
