Mirabo Press offers funded residencies

Print Shop founded by UB Art Alumni, offers paid artist residencies.

In 2018, Bob Fleming, Rachel Shelton, and Mizin Shin started Mirabo Press to fulfill a dream born in the print shop at University of Buffalo. Shelton and Shin are both 2017 MFA Alumni of the Department of Art, and Fleming is a longstanding community print lab collaborator.

MIRABO Call for Applicants: Growing the WNY Print Community Program

Mirabo Press is delighted to announce that three fully funded artist residencies will be available in 2025!

This new granting program is intended to nurture and expand our creative community by collaborating with underrepresented and emerging artists who might not otherwise have access to professional printmaking facilities or the funds to collaborate with master printers. Thanks to generous support from The Generator Fund and the Andy Warhol Foundation, we are able to offer this opportunity to spend a week with our master printers developing new print-based work. The three artists chosen for residencies will also be included in a curated group show in the fall of 2025.
