AS 347: The Fantastical World of Japanese Anime

Eligible applicants for this state student assistant position must be enrolled UB  graduate students who are authorized to work on campus. The minimum qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in the Humanities with either some study of Japan/East Asian history and culture and/or a familiarity with Anime. Preferred qualifications include a Master's degree or above in the relevant areas, teaching experience, and some film study. The grader will work from 2-10 hours per week, with the highest workload during mid-term and final exam periods. This is an hourly position. Pay will be based on hours worked, at a rate of $15-$20 an hour based on qualifications. The work will be supervised by the course instructor and the Asian Studies Program Director.
