    The Department of Communicative Disorders and Sciences and the UB Speech-Language and Hearing Clinic welcomes new clinical faculty members, Laura Roberts in Spring 2021 and Molly Holcombe in Fall 2021 as well as Gabrielle Marek in Fall 2021 as administrative support. Below is a brief introduction of each.

    The Audiology Program has been ranked second in the Top 15 Doctorates of Audiology in the nation by Top Master's in Healthcare Administration (https://www.topmastersinhealthcare.com/best/doctorates-of-audiology/). This rank is based on degree outcomes, alumni reviews, degree affordability, acceptance rates, MCAT and GRE scores, and degree completion.
  • Jeff Higginbotham receives 'Project Open' grant from National Institute on Disability, Independent Living and Rehabilitation Research.

  • Amanda Allen, ASHA ECP Awardee

    Amanda Allen, Lab Coordinator for Dr. Kris Tjaden’s Motor Speech Disorders Lab and summer clinical supervisor in the Speech and Hearing Clinic has been awarded the Distinguished Early Career Professional (ECP) Certificate of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
