The Department of Chemistry hosts speakers from around the world through our Foster Colloquium Series and various disciplinary seminars. In addition, the annual Howard Tieckelmann Memorial Lecture is our department’s signature seminar event. The generosity of the Tieckelmann family and friends has enabled us to host truly distinguished scientists in a wide range of disciplines since the inception of the series in 2009.
