Minimum Score Requirements:
The minimum TOEFL scores required are 550 for the paper-based test (TOEFL PBT); and 79 for the internet-based test (TOEFL IBT).
The University at Buffalo does not currently require minimum cut-off scores for the four individual subsections. Though there is no required minimum section score, most accepted students are expected to achieve the following section scores: Reading: 19/30; Listening: 15/30; Speaking: 19/30; Writing: 19/30.
