Biko Mandela Gray is an Associate Professor of Religion at Syracuse University. He writes and teaches at the intersection of Black Studies, philosophy of religion, political theology, and ethics. His first book, Black Life Matter, was published with Duke University Press in 2022, and he's currently working on a book that explores Sojourner Truth's life as a foundation for a Black thanato-ethics.
