Course Requirements
Indigenous Studies Core (9 credits)
- IDS 101LEC - Introduction to Indigenous Studies Credits: 3
- IDS 103LEC - Introduction to Haudenosaunee Languages and Culture Credits: 3
- IDS 231SEM - Early Indigenous History to 1871 Credits: 3 OR
- IDS 232SEM - Indigenous History Since 1872 Credits: 3 OR
- IDS 332SEM - Indigenous Perspectives on U.S. History Credits: 3
Three elective courses (9 credits)
Complete 9 credits of elective courses at the 300/400-level. A single 100/200-level elective can replace one of these elective courses if IDS 332 is completed as an option in the Indigenous Studies Core. Electives from Critical Indigenous Studies, Land-Based, or Language are recommended to allow for depth in one of these areas.
