DMS students among Buffalo International Film Festival Award Winners

When the award winners of the 2021 Buffalo International Film Festival were announced, UB's Department of Media Study was well-represented.

Instructor and PhD student Jason Livingston went home with the Best Documentary Short award for his film "Ancient Sunshine," and alumnus Kristian Mercado (BA '06) won Best Animated Film for "Nuevo Rico."

Congratulations to all the winners and participants, and we're looking forward to more innovative and diverse productions from the DMS family.
