John Fiege, assistant professor, premiered his feature documentary film, "Raising Aniya," about environmental justice on the Gulf Coast at the Environmental Film Festival in the Nation's Capital, the world's largest and longest-running environmental film festival. The film has since been screened at festivals across the country, including the Climate Film Festival in New York City, the Ashland Independent Film Festival in Oregon, and the Princeton Environmental Film Festival, as well as at special presentations hosted by the Yale School of the Environment and the Bullard Center for Environmental and Climate Justice at Texas Southern University. The film will be broadcast on CUNY-TV over the next two years.
