UB's Psychology MA program thoroughly improved my proficiency as a researcher. I learned how to use statistical software and became more familiar with recruitment, data collection, and data analysis in the context of a randomized clinical trial. The solid mentorship that I received from the program challenged me to explore more focused research interests. 

The Psychology MA degree prepared me for the work that I do as a doctoral graduate student working on a study on drug treatment courts. I feel like I came into the program with an advantage since I already had a publication under my belt and I was not a stranger to various types of research methodologies.
