Dr. Marco Faini Brings Renaissance Expertise to Brescia Exhibition

RLL faculty member Dr. Marco Faini, Assistant Professor of Italian, has been keeping busy with exciting work beyond the classroom!

Recently, he served on the Scientific Committee for the acclaimed exhibition Il Rinascimento a Brescia: Moretto, Romanino, Savoldo 1512–1552, organized by Brescia Musei. This major exhibition celebrates the rich artistic heritage of the Renaissance in Brescia, showcasing masterpieces by some of the era’s most influential painters.

In addition to his committee role, Dr. Faini delivered a public lecture titled Fortunato Martinengo e la cultura del dubbio tra Brescia e Venezia last October as part of a series of public humanities events connected to the exhibition. These initiatives aim to share scholarly insights with a wider audience and spark conversations about Renaissance art and culture.
