Bio: Francisco Ambrosio Figueroa III is a PhD student in the Department of Sociology and Criminology at the University at Buffalo. His overall research interests center around inflammatory bowel disease, ulcerative colitis, Crohn's Disease, and the social determinants of health. Francisco is committed to discerning patterns of similarity and difference across White/Black IBD patients and to highlight the underlying processes that produce them.
