Our Mission

To represent and support the interests of the current and future graduate students in UB Sociology by supporting scholarly activities and providing leadership, service, and social opportunities for members.

Our Purpose

  1. Promote communication and understanding among graduate students in UB Sociology, between graduate students and faculty in UB Sociology, and between graduate students in UB Sociology and other parties of the University at Buffalo community.
  2. Define common problems and objectives for graduate students in UB Sociology.
  3. Represent and promote the interests of the graduate students in UB Sociology vis-à-vis the faculty, administration, and other parties of the University at Buffalo.
  4. Provide a means for the expression of social support among and between graduate students in UB Sociology.
