Bio:
I am a PhD student and teaching assistant in sociology. My research interests include the study of family and deviance, with a particular focus on the experiences of children in the foster care system and their involvement in the juvenile justice system. I am also interested in dementia care in the United States, examining how care is currently provided and exploring ways it can be improved by incorporating sociological perspectives and comparing approaches across different countries and cultures.
