Bio: Leila Tufekci is a first-year graduate student and Teaching Assistant with interests in labor, urban agriculture and the environment. Leila has worked as a labor market researcher and has carried out studies on welfare-to-work, labor unions and individuals’ experiences of navigating the labor market. Over the past two years Leila has worked in regenerative farming and is now looking to explore the relationship between agricultural labor and urban environments.
