Adia says that she became a sociology major because sociological thinking comes naturally to her. She explains: “Sociology is a an area of study that will never lose its value and that is why I became a sociology major.”

Adia hopes to enroll in a nursing program after graduation. She is confident that her sociological background will serve her well in her future medical profession. She explains: “Although the sciences are greatly important, it is understanding the moral dilemmas and societal hardships that come with being both a patient and a physician that make a quality medical professional.”
