Most UB students are pretty busy, but Criminology major KJ (Kiara) Johnson just might be busier than most.  Not only is she a member of the UB Bulls basketball team, but she is a mother to an infant son.

KJ, a Buffalo native, completed a Bachelor’s degree at Towson University, but decided to return to UB for a second BA in Criminology, since she hopes to work in the criminal justice field after graduation.  (Becoming a college coach is also an option.)  KJ writes, “Everything I do is not only for my son but to show how strong women can be… even when life throws you a curve you can still push through and follow your dreams.”
