What else should I be doing?
- If studying abroad this year in London: (1) apply for UB Sociology Study Abroad in London Scholarship by Sept 29 (2) apply for the program by the Oct 1 deadline
- Consider an internship, SOC 496
- If interested, consider running for office in the Sociology Club
- Apply for research opportunities through CURCA
- Talk to your professors about research opportunities for undergraduate students
- If eligible, apply for Alpha Kappa Delta, the Sociology honors society
- Work with Career Services to write a resume and conduct an informational interview with someone in the field you are interested in
- If applying to graduate school, assemble application materials
- Consider presenting research you have done in research-intensive courses or in collaboration with faculty at the UB Celebration of Academic Excellence, NYS Sociological Association, or Eastern Sociological Society meetings
