Dave Secor

Dave Secor (He/Him/His) started at the Daniel Hoff Agency’s LA office as an intern in 2006. After 10 years of hard work and dedication he opened the New York City office.

Upon moving to New York, Dave’s drive and passion were clear as he literally knocked on doors, schlepped gifts to casting offices, and held open calls to discover new talent. As an Agent, Dave says he's the "Jewish mother of Broadway" with a very hands-on approach with clients, he treats them all as his family. He has helped his "babies" build careers on both coasts in TV, film, and theatre- and is proud to currently have people working on Broadway, in National Tours, at regional theatres, in addition to regularly appearing on TV and film.  

Dave has always been a champion for diversity in the arts and is proud to see the change finally happening. Albeit slower than it should, progress is still being made.  Dave has made his home in New York City for the past seven years and holds a BFA from the University of Miami, where he currently serves as an industry liaison for their senior showcase.

Dave also enjoys teaching workshops to actors at colleges and conservatories across the country. He works with them to help fine tune their audition skills and educate them on how to have a successful career with or without representation. Through teaching, Dave encourages artists to grow into the performer they want to be to have a fulfilling and sustainable career in the arts.
