Elise May

Working with Linda Swiniuch and Tom Ralabate in the early days of Zodiaque Dance Company, Elise stage managed, did lighting design and recorded audio tracks of poetry and prose for Zodiaque performances.

She also worked on collaborations with Zodiaque Dance Company and AMDANCE in Concert at Artpark. Elise is a Teaching Artist/Arts Administrator, actor/singer, writer/storyteller. Her original award-winning Arts-in-Education programs use theater arts for communication empowerment and community development with all populations. Elise is on the Steering Committee for the Arts for All Abilities Consortium in NYC and Vice President of Stage the Change: the Arts as a Social Voice, inspiring high school students to use the arts to create social change. A Teaching Artist for Tilles Center for the Performing Arts, Elise is part of the devising and performance team of Branching Out, an original sensory immersive play for those on the autism spectrum. She also produces and performs 1940’s style radio plays.
