Doug Weyand

A Zodiaque Dance Company member from 1988-1991, Doug has been a choreographer, director, actor, writer or designer for over 300 productions throughout his career. He is a three-time Artie Award winner in the areas of direction and choreography and his work has been seen on nearly every stage in WNY and regionally.

Favorite direction/choreographic projects include: Avenue Q, Falsettos, Spring Awakening, Song & Dance, Evita, Urinetown and The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee. Doug also returned to UB on occasion to choreograph My Fair Lady and for Zodiaque Dance Company. He is currently the Marketing Director for MusicalFare Theatre in Amherst, NY, is a company member at Road Less Traveled Productions and serves onthe Board of Directors for the Theatre Alliance of Buffalo.
