AJ Overton

AJ Overton is a 2001 BFA graduate and former member of Zodiaque Dance Company. While attending UB she participated in numerous performances ranging from concert dance to musical productions. Throughout her college years she spent her summers as a dancer/singer for Six Flags and Busch Gardens.

Upon graduation she returned to Busch for another season and then moved to the beautiful island of Guam to dance for SandcastleEntertainment. When she returned to Buffalo, she began teaching full time at Mary Alice’s Dance Studio working directly with their competitive team and specializing in pre-school dance. She is currently on faculty as Co-Director at this studio. In 2008, AJ was an integral part in the establishment of Dancers Give Back, a non-profit that raises funds for cancer research and patient support by bringing the dance community together in a weekend long annual event. AJ currently lives in the Buffalo area with her husband and 2 children. She is thankful for the opportunity to inspire a passion for dance in future generations.
