The Theatre Senior Showcase highlights the work of graduating students in Acting, Music Theatre, and Design/Tech, offering them an opportunity to present their talents to the public and strengthen their professional portfolios. The program features songs, monologues, and scenes performed as solos and duets, along with a meet‑and‑greet designed to connect graduating students with the community. Theatre Senior Showcase is filmed in front of a live audience.

Gwenyth Daretany – Music Theatre
Gwenyth Daretany (she/her) will graduate in Spring 2026 with a BFA in Music Theatre. Her upcoming and recent UB Theatre and Dance credits include Assistant Choreographer, Swing, Fight Captain, and Sleeping Beauty in Into the Woods; Senator Fipp, Dance Captain, and Fight Captain in Urinetown; and Gladys Hotchkiss in The Pajama Game. Her performance as Gladys earned recognition from the Kennedy Center American College Theater Festival, Region 2.
This May, she will perform with Buffalo Opera Unlimited in the world premiere of Carry My Own Suitcase as Dancing Roger. A New York City native, she plans to return to NYC shortly after graduation to continue her career.
Alex Fawkes – Acting
Alex Fawkes (he/they) is a Latinx actor, artist, writer, and musician. Previous acting credits include Puffs, Three Sisters, The Intruder, C’est La Vie, Wasting Away, Almost, Maine, The Pajama Game, Beauty and the Beast, Newsies, Aladdin, and most recently Macbeth. Additional credits include WBFO Radio’s The Legend of Sleepy Hollow (voice), A Crack in the Egg (Stage Manager), Urinetown (ASM), Mr. Burns (RASM/Head Dresser), and In the End of Times (Playwright/Director/Sound, Lights & Set Designer). Sheila Fastoff – Theatre Design/Technology
Sheila Fastoff (designer/technician) (she/her) will graduate in Spring 2026 with a BA in Theatre, concentrating in Design/Technology, and a minor in Education. Her UB Theatre and Dance design credits include scenic design for Mr. Burns, A Post-Electric Play, Fabulation, or the Re-Education of Undine, and The Wolves. Additional UB production work includes serving as a scenic carpenter on Renascence, scenic artist on 9 to 5 The Musical, and scenic charge artist for the 2025–2026 season. Sheila received a Certificate of Merit for Excellence in Scenic Design from the Kennedy Center American College Theater Festival. She currently works as a Front of House Assistant at the UB Center for the Arts. After completing her degree, Sheila plans to return to her hometown in Rockland County, where she will continue pursuing artistic opportunities while expanding her technical and design skills.
Angel Marí Frías Fuertes – Music Theatre
Angel Marí Frías Fuertes (she/her) is an actress, singer, and dancer who will graduate in Spring 2026 with a BFA in Music Theatre and a minor in Chinese Language. During her time at UB, she has performed as Emma Blake in Fefu and Her Friends, Karnak in Ride the Cyclone, Katherine/Ensemble in Renascence, Ensemble in R&H’s Cinderella, and as a contestant in LASA’s 2024 pageant Mr. & Mrs. Latino. Her professional credits include ensemble work at the Vineyard Theatre and ensemble dancing at the Billie Holiday Theatre. She currently works as a barista and as a draper in the UB Costume Shop, where she sews pieces for departmental productions. After graduating, Angel plans to pursue theatre and costuming opportunities in the Buffalo area before eventually moving back home to Brooklyn, NY.
Lisa Gallagher – Theatre Design/Technology
Lisa Gallagher is a senior Theatre Design/Technology student at the University at Buffalo. As a theatrical designer and technician, Lisa has worked in audio, lighting, scenery, video, and stage management. Last year, Lisa had the honor of attending the American College Theatre Festival's National Conference as a Sound Design Finalist, where she won the Eugene O'Neill Theater Center Audio Fellowship. Lisa is excited to enter the professional world as a lighting designer and audio technician.
Caroline Jameson – Music Theatre
Caroline Jameson (actor/singer/dancer) (she/her) is graduating Summa Cum Laude this spring with a BFA in Music Theatre and minors in Psychology and Dance. She will appear as the Baker’s Wife in UBTHD’s upcoming production of Into the Woods. Her recent credits include Hope in Urinetown and Julia in Fefu and Her Friends, both of which earned her ACTF Irene Ryan nominations. Following graduation, Caroline plans to pursue an MFA in Acting. She would like to thank her parents and her brother Daniel for their endless support, as well as James, Matt, and Danielle for their work on this showcase. Go Bulls!
Wisteria Jones – Music Theatre
Wisteria Jones (actor/singer/dancer) (she/her) will graduate in Spring 2026 with a BFA in Music Theatre and a minor in Education. Her UB Theatre and Dance credits include Little Sally in Urinetown, Mara/Mae Understudy in The Pajama Game, and Megan Jones in Puffs. Professional credits include Little Page Boy/Ensemble in Cinderella at the Lockport Historic Palace Theatre. She was nominated for the KCACTF acting scholarship for her performance in Urinetown. Originally from Rochester, New York, she plans to begin the Disney College Program this August.
Faith Marsala – Theatre Design/Technology
Faith Marsala (Stage Manager/Designer) is a Theatre Design and Technology BFA student graduating in Fall 2026. Highlights of her time in the department include stage managing ChoreoLab in Spring 2025, costume designing Urinetown the Musical this past fall, and creating puppet designs for Macbeth earlier this month. She received a Merit for Noteworthy Design for her costume work on Urinetown and had the opportunity to attend the American College Theatre Festival in Columbia, Maryland this past winter. Faith hopes to continue stage managing and designing as she begins seeking opportunities in Buffalo—or wherever the next exciting project takes her.
Dylan McGannon – Theatre Design/Technology
Dylan McGannon (Technical Direction) is a senior Theatre BA student with a concentration in Design and Technology, graduating in Spring 2026. He also holds an associate’s degree in Computer Science from Onondaga Community College. His UB Theatre credits include serving as the student technical director for Urinetown, Macbeth, and Into the Woods. Outside of UB, Dylan can often be found building projects, learning new skills, 3D printing, or spending time at the gym. He is also a proud member of the UB Cheerleading team. After completing his degree, Dylan plans to pursue job opportunities in technical theatre or continue his academic journey in graduate school.
Allinee NeGron – Music Theatre
Allinee NeGron (actor/singer) (she/her/hers) will graduate in Spring 2026 with her BFA in Music Theatre. Her UB Theatre and Dance credits include Babe in The Pajama Game, Katrina Van Tassel in The Legend of Sleepy Hollow in collaboration with WBFO, and Mother in Renascence. Her professional credits include Fiona in Shrek, Ella in Cinderella, Lauren in Kinky Boots, Roz Keith in 9 to 5, and Lorraine/Lead Angel in the WNY premiere of Jersey Boys (Historic Lockport Palace Theatre). She has also spent the past two years working with the Palace’s PPAS programs as Assistant Choreographer for their summer children’s productions (Alice in Wonderland Jr. and Beetlejuice Jr.).
Allinee is a two-time nominee at the Kennedy Center American College Theater Festival, Region 2 (2023 and 2025). Based in the Lancaster/Buffalo, NY area, she plans to continue working locally after graduation.
Isaac So – Acting
Isaac So (actor) (he/him) will graduate in Spring 2026 with a BA in Theatre. His UB Theatre and Dance credits include The Pajama Game and Fabulation, or the Re-Education of Undine. After graduating, he plans to return to NYC to continue pursuing an acting career.
Amaya Sonubi – Music Theatre
Amaya Sonubi is proud and ecstatic to perform one last time at UB, as she will be graduating this spring with her BFA in Music Theatre and BA in Criminology. She has appeared in numerous UB Department of Theatre & Dance productions, including Fefu and Her Friends (Fefu), Fabulation, or the Re-Education of Undine (Undine), and 9 to 5! (Kathy). She also starred as Fancy Nancy in Fancy Nancy’s Splendiferous Christmas at Buffalo’s Theatre of Youth.
Amaya would like to thank her friends, family, and faculty for supporting her throughout her UB journey. She is excited for whatever comes next. Enjoy the show!!
Indira Surage – Acting
Indira Surage (actor) (she/her) will graduate in Spring 2026 with a BFA in Acting. Her UB Theatre and Dance credits include Adriana Kale/Oracle in Itamar Moses’ Outrage, Quincy/Bart Simpson in Anne Washburn’s Mr. Burns: A Post-Electric Play, and Mother/Ensemble in Lynn Nottage’s Fabulation, or the Re-Education of Undine. Originally from Brooklyn, Indira plans to continue her training and create new work in New York City after graduation.
Mallory Tirone – Theatre Design/Technology
Mallory Tirone (Lighting Designer) (she/her) will graduate in Spring 2026 with a BFA in Theatre Design/Technology. Born and raised in Buffalo, NY, Mallory has been deeply involved in theatre and dance since a young age. Her UB Theatre and Dance credits include lighting design for Zodiaque Dance Company, Urinetown the Musical, and the upcoming production of Into the Woods. Mallory works as a stagehand for IATSE calls at KeyBank Center, Shea’s Performing Arts Center, and Highmark Stadium, and has previously assisted with build for Buffalo’s Shakespeare in Delaware Park. While still exploring her future path, she hopes to pursue graduate studies in Lighting Design.
Abby Tyler – Music Theatre
Abby Tyler (actor/singer/dancer) will graduate in Spring 2026 with a BFA in Music Theatre. Her UB Theatre and Dance credits include Ensemble in Cinderella, Henry Hall in Renascence, Roz Keith in 9 to 5, Poopsie/Understudy Gladys/Dance Captain in The Pajama Game, and Ms. Penelope Pennywise in Urinetown. She also originated the role of Sefira Meyer in A Crack in the Egg: A New Rock Musical by Jeremy Ephraim Meyers and John DellaContrada as part of UB’s Student Directed Series. In April, you can see her as Jack’s Mother in Into the Woods! A loud and proud native of Long Island, NY, she plans to head back home and stay close to NYC after graduation.
Emilia Vischi – Acting
Emilia Vischi (actor/dancer) (she/her) will graduate in Spring 2026 with a BFA in Acting. Her credits include #11 in The Wolves, Hank/Swing in The Secretaries, and Girl in Gossamer Dress in Chamber Music. She also performed in last fall’s Shakespeare Showcase. In addition to acting, Emilia has performed in Dancers Workshop and is a member of Impulse Dance Force. After graduation, she plans to move to Vancouver to pursue a career in the film industry.
André White – Acting
André White (actor/singer/dancer) (he/him) will graduate in Spring 2026 with a BFA in Acting. His previous UB Theatre and Dance credits include Father Understudy in Eurydice, Socrates in Outrage, Speed in The Odd Couple, Father/Hervé in Fabulation, or the Re-Education of Undine, Thomas Thistle in Ernest and the Pale Moon, Myron Hasler in The Pajama Game, Tiny Tom/Dr. Billeaux in Urinetown, Krapp in Krapp’s Last Tape, and Performer/Director in The LV Shakespeare Showcase (1–3). He plans to continue working in Rochester and Buffalo, with hopes of expanding his career to additional locations in the near future.
Audree Woods – Music Theatre
Audree Woods (dancer/singer/actor) (she/her) will graduate in Spring 2026 with a BFA in Dance (concentration in Music Theatre) and a Minor in Management. She is a member of the Honors College and serves as the College Ambassador for the Department of Theatre and Dance. Her UBTHD credits include Zodiaque Dance Company, Ride the Cyclone (Jane Doe), and Emerging Choreographers Showcase (Choreographer/Dancer). Professional credits include Crazy for You (Polly Baker) and Cinderella (Charlotte). Audree is currently performing as Amber Von Tussle in Hairspray at Shea’s 710. She was awarded the Outstanding Dance Award at the Region 2 American College Theater Festival. Audree is currently auditioning for cruise ships and regional theatres while preparing to move to NYC.
