An article in the St. Petersburg Times on friends recording songs to ease the pain and mourn the murders of young African American men quotes Tom Frantz, professor of associate professor and chair of counseling, school and educational psychology, who said, "There is a chance that what (the song) does can glorify the one who has been killed. But ... one can only hope that the legitimate cathartic feelings the music invokes are more beneficial for those grieving." Go to article.
